The Friends of the Abased is a science and technology based 501c non-profit that has 4 main objectives:

  1. Research: Perform fundamental research that helps humanity and publish in open source peer reviewed journals.

    • Physics

    • Art

    • Computer Science

  2. Distributed, Household-Controlled Manufacturing of Basic Life Necessities:Develops technology in the form of 3D print designs. We release these designs to the public under the Creative Commons license. The primary objective is give people the power to make their own machines to assist in acquiring water and food.

  3. Educational Outreach: The future economy demands creative work from humanity. We will do outreach to underserved areas, providing lectures from scientists, engineers, historians, artists, etc.

  4. Direct Charity: Food donations and service to the needy in coordination with local nonprofits and charitiable groups such as the Knights of Columbus.
